Registrations Process for the Nursery Grade.

Kunskapsskolan believes that each child is different and can achieve more than they thought possible if their uniqueness is recognized and they are given the opportunity to explore it.

For Admission, the following criteria of admission will be followed.

• There will be no interviewing or screening of children or their parents.
• The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on point system.
• Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted

Point Criteria:

Admission Procedure:

Step 1: Submission of the completed registration/ application form online.

Step 2: Intimation of the date for virtual School presentation via email or direct calling.

Step 3: Intimation for a school tour on the informed date and time.

Step 4: Student and parental interaction on the same date.

Step 5: Confirmation of admission along with the requirement of documents will be notified via email.

Step 6: Student admission, submission of documents & payment of fees (to be done within 3 working days from the date of announcement).

Age Criteria for admissions:

• 2 year 6 months as on 31st March for Pre-Nursery for the academic session applied for.
• 3 years 6 months as on 31st March for Nursery for the academic session applied for*. (* 45 day grace period applicable on Date of Birth for Nursery registrations)
• 4 year 6 months as on 31st March for KG for the academic session applied for.
• 5 year 6 months as on 31st March for Grade 1 for the academic session applied for.

Eligibility:

All Nationalities

Documents required:

• Aadhaar Card
• 04 passport sized colored photographs of the child
• 01 passport sized colored photographs of each parent
• Birth certificate
• Immunization Record
• Address Proof - Lease deed or Utilities Bills (Gas/Electricity/Landline)
• Passport copy of foreign nationals

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB)

Admissions open for Grades

Primary Years Programme: PYP(Candidate School) – Early Years 1, Early Years 2, Early Years 3, Grade 1 to 5
Middle Years Programme: MYP(Authorised School) – Grade 6 to 10
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme: IBDP(Candidate School) – Grade 11 & 12

Admissions Criteria for Early Years:

• While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
• Admissions are offered on the basis of a Points Criteria and are subject to seat availability. The points are determined through the information submitted to the School by the parent.

Points Criteria:

For Grade 1 to 12 Admissions

• While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
• There will also be a Grade level readiness assessment for the child.
• The final decision of admissions is subject to availability of seats.

Admission Procedure:

1. Step 1:Submission of the completed Registration form. Registration forms will be available for submission from 19th July 2025.
2. Step 2:Intimation by the School from 22nd July’25on the date for:
   • Curriculum Counselling Session by the Head of School – IB
   • School Tour
   • Immersion programme schedule (optional)
   • Interaction with Director IB Kunskapsskolan Schools
   • For Grades 1 and 2 – informal interaction to understand current language and math skills
   • For Grades 3 to 11 – Grade Level Assessment
3. Step 3:Successful applicants will receive communication from the Admissions Team via email: admissions.ib@ked.edu.in
4. Step 4:Admission formalities to be completed by submission of documents and payment of fees within 3 working days of confirmation.

Age Criteria for Early Years Admissions:

• 3 years completed as on 30th July for Early Years-1
• 4 years completed as on 30th July for Early Years-2
• 5 years completed as on 30th July for Early Years-3
• 6 years completed as on 30th July for PYP-1

Documents required to take forward the admission process:

• Copy of Aadhaar Card (child & parent/s)
• 04 passport size colour photographs of the child
• 02 passport size colour photographs of parent/s
• Birth certificate of the child
• Immunization record of the child
• Address Proof – Lease deed or Utility Bill
• Photocopies of Mark sheets (originals at time of admission)
• Transfer certificate (if applicable)
• Character certificate from previous school
• Parivar Pehchan Patra Certificate (Family ID)

Additional documents required for admission of International Students:

• Self-attested passport copies of parents & child/children
• Permanent address of native country
• Copy of FRRO
